Modern Nurse Fest VIP Sweepstakes Official Rules

1. Sponsor

The Modern Nurse Fest VIP Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Nurses for Nurses Association, a nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status pending approval by the IRS, with a mission to empower nurses through education, community, and professional development (“Sponsor”).

2. Sweepstakes Period

The Sweepstakes begins at December 30, 2025, at 12:00 PM EST and ends at February 14, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device. Entries submitted before or after the Sweepstakes Period will be disqualified.

3. Eligibility

  • Open only to legal residents of the United States, 18 years or older at the time of entry.

  • Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family or household members are not eligible.

  • Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law.

4. Prize

One (1) winner will receive the following prize package:

  • 2 VIP Modern Nurse Fest Tickets to the event location of their choice

  • $1,000 Delta Airlines gift card for airfare

  • $750 Hotels.com gift card for hotel accommodations

  • $250 Ulta Beauty gift card for personal use

Total Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $2,794

Prize Restrictions:

  • Prize is non-transferable and non-assignable. No cash or other substitution will be permitted, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

  • Winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, and any other fees or expenses not stated as part of the prize.

  • Travel and accommodations must be used according to the gift card issuer’s terms and conditions.

5. Winner Selection

Winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.
Drawing will be conducted by Sponsor or its designated agent, whose decisions are final and binding.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries.

6. Winner Notification

Winner will be notified by email or phone within five (5) business days after the drawing.
Winner must respond within seven (7) calendar days to claim the prize. Failure to respond may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

7. Publicity

By accepting the prize, winner grants Sponsor the right to use their name, photograph, likeness, voice, statements, and/or biographical information for advertising, marketing, and promotional purposes in any and all media worldwide, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

8. General Conditions

By participating, entrants agree to:

  • Be bound by these Official Rules

  • Comply with all applicable laws

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair its integrity.
Entrants release Sponsor and its affiliates from any liability related to participation or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

9. Limitations of Liability

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, garbled, or misdirected entries, or for technical malfunctions or errors in these rules or Sweepstakes communications.

10. Governing Law

Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of Alaska, without regard to conflicts of law principles.

11. Privacy

By entering, participants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information as described in Sponsor’s [Privacy Policy], including for Sweepstakes administration, winner notification, and marketing communications where permitted by law.

12. Winner List

To request the name of the winner, send an email to info@nursesfornurses.org within 30 days of the Sweepstakes end date.

13. Ways to Enter

A. Free Entry (No Purchase Necessary)

  • Submit the following entry form>> MNF Getaway Free Entry.

  • The entry form asks for your name, email, and optional questions about your nursing career, interests, and goals.

  • Multiple entries are allowed; there is no limit on free entries per person.

Important: No purchase, donation, or payment is required. All entries have equal chances of winning.

B. Optional Ticket Purchase

  • Purchasing an entry ticket is optional.

  • Entry via ticket purchase does not increase your chances of winning.

  • Free entry via the online form remains fully available to all participants.

14. Taxes and Reporting

  • Winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes.

  • Sponsor will provide IRS Form 1099 for prizes exceeding $600.

  • Sponsor’s pending 501(c)(3) status does not affect tax liability for the prize.

15. Disputes

All disputes, claims, and causes of action are resolved individually, without class action, exclusively by the appropriate state or federal court in Alaska.

16. Severability

If any provision is invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

17. Force Majeure

Sponsor is not responsible for delays, interruptions, or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, strikes, technical failures, or internet outages.

18. Compliance with Laws

Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local laws. Participants agree to comply with all applicable laws.

19. Sponsor’s Right to Modify Rules

Sponsor may modify these rules for clarification, administrative purposes, or to comply with applicable law, without materially affecting the prize or eligibility.
